TheWheel® SM500 - city bus / truck
TheWheel SM500 is designed for industrial applications. City bus projects such as Hybricon and NEMS show the full potential of this type of in-wheel direct-drive.
The flexible design of this motor results in three sub-types. The SM500/1 motor can be used in heavy SUV's such as our Mercedes G test vehicle. The largest sub-type can be used in full scale heavy city buses such as project Whisper.
