Lightweight hybrid e-Traction bus

Besides the application of wheel motors, weight reduction is also an important way to reduce fuel consumption and emission. For this reason e-Traction has initiated a new project to equip a lightweight X97 bus designed by Fokker with TheWheel™ technology.

Advantages

Several advantages are associated with a lightweight bus made of composite materials. Besides, a fuel and emission reduction the rigid body also results in less maintenance.
